Everything the Sangat Needs
From the warmth of Guru ka Langar to restful accommodation, community equipment, and sacred artifacts — all under one roof, all rooted in seva.
“Sitting together as equals in the Pangat, we partake in food blessed by the congregation. The Langar obliterates all distinctions of caste, creed, and status.”
— Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji
How Langar Flows
From dawn preparation to evening cleanup, every step is seva.
Prepare
Sewadars arrive at dawn to wash, chop, knead, and season. Fresh ingredients prepared with prayers.
Cook
Large vessels simmer over steady flames. Rotis hand-pressed, dal and sabzi for hundreds.
Serve
The Sangat sits in Pangat — rows on the floor. Volunteers serve with generosity and warmth.
Clean
Utensils are scrubbed, dried, and stacked. Ready for the next sitting. The cycle continues.
